I am a Fashion Gradute specialising in promotion and communication.I have worked in the retail industry for six years , for companies such as
Topshop, Firetrap and All Saints. This has helped me to understand the trend Industry, on how to identify and advise customers of what clothing is appropriate for that particular customer. Retail experience has helped Improve my customer service skills, which was helpful during work
experience. Working for Vauxhall Fashion Scouts led to experiencing working on real fashion shows, such as Britain’s next top model and London fashion week; this was a great way to experience the heart of the fashion industry. This involved helping dress the models before runway shows, helping the P.R’s with dealing with the press and assisting designers and stylists Backstage. I have also helped coordinate our 3rd fashion show at
college, which was great experience in how to put together a fashion show. I am also Interested in styling , helping to coordinated fashion events, buying and merchandising. I have excellent CAD and branding skills, I can design, brand and promote a collection. I am very keen to further my skills and am willing to put in the time doing whatever is necessary to get into the fashion industry. I’m hardworking, reliable and have excellent social skills. After travelling around Asia for three months I have gained a great sense of confidence when dealing with new people and difficult
