I originally come from Northampton, though I haven't lived there for 28 years. Originally from the printing/prepress industry, where I did a 5 year apprenticeship. Got into the electronics side of the business. I've lived in NZ, Australia, USA and Canada where I got into high end sales. Moved back to UK in 2001 and since then, I've done business development, sales, tactical marketing via SFS and worked selling membership for two major wildlife and nature conservation charities, where I developed new venues and beat targets. Now back with SFS. I like equipment demonstrating I worked on a TomTom campaign and sold HP Computers successfully in John Lewis through an agency on SFS. I've worked at food & craft shows and I like promoting food brands. Wildlife Fundraising (Central) Ltd. - Littlemore Oxon. April 2013 – August - 2013 Membership Recruiter – Part of a team covering eight Wildlife Trusts, working mainly in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & Oxfordshire (BBOWT). But also in Hertfordshire for Herts. & Middlesex Wildlife Trust (HMWT). Reporting to the Recruitment Manager. On 0 hours contract with hourly rate or commission. • Responsible for new memberships for respective trusts (47 Wildlife trusts) • Make sure memberships were Gift Aided whenever possible. • Recruited at Supermarkets and other retail outlets. Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) - Banbury Oxon May 2008 – April 2013 Membership Development Officer (MDO) – Working for the Midlands Regional Office as part of the marketing team, but out posted to home office and travelling to sites, meetings and conferences • Responsible for selling new memberships for RSPB in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire & Warwickshire.
