Profile
I have skills in customer relations, marketing small and medium social events
and have a good insight into the retail industry. I have attended fashion shows
in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Paris, Milan and Florence. These include
Premiere Vision, Pitti Uomo, Donna, Filati and Bambini, Milan, Paris and
London fashion weeks. I have also had the opportunity to visit clothing
manufacturers such as Menchi Tessuti and Machattie in Prato, Florence and
Kiton in Naples and fashion houses such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, Prada
and Bloomingdales. I have gained skills in making and designing clothes
including hand and machine sewing, pattern cutting and knitting.
I can bring an understanding of different cultures to the fashion and the leisure
industry, having lived and worked in several European countries and travelled
to Latin America. I worked at the School of Tropical Medicine, a centre of
excellence in the UK, in holiday resorts in Spain and studied in the UK,
Switzerland and Italy.

I catalogued Emilio Pucci's collection, which included a very rich and
diversified set of fashion products stored over 60 years in the original fashion
house. I was responsible for cataloguing and labelling all garments, fabrics and
accesories in English and Italian. These included photography of merchandise
to present in a magazine format. I also sorted and packaged vintage
merchandise to be sold at auction. I also labelled a range of 1500 Pucci patterns
created by current and former world renowned fashion designers such as
Emilio Pucci, Christian Lacroix, Matthew Williamson and Peter Dundas.
