For the past ten years I have worked for a wide variety of promotional and marketing agencies and to me, the daily challenges and buzz that comes with interacting face to face with the public and communicating client information is what makes this work so enjoyable. With a background in the competitive world of car sales, and then in professional theatre, I can easily and quickly form a good rapport with customers; always maintaining a professional, attentive, patient and good-humoured manner. Ever mindful of the client’s brand image I know how to identify the appropriate customer and then communicate the right message; whether I am demonstrating an appliance or power tool in-store, or promoting a brand at a trade fare or in the public domain. This intuitive ability to recognise a potential customer, engage with them and sell a product has earned me recognition and praise from high-level company sales managers and directors. As an enthusiastic and cheerful person I always convey a commitment and passion for the product I am promoting, and this passion comes across in my communication with customers. I firmly believe that if the customer enjoys a good buying or demonstration experience they will remember the product and will be happy to return to that brand, and to the store, in future.
Although I am a competent, conscientious and efficient worker on my own I also love working as part of a dynamic team and have always fostered an excellent working relationship with store colleagues, campaign teams and agency management.
