Use of terminal and sales

Slim Fast New Range; I studied the range of existing and new slim fast products to help the promotional process. My aim was to persuade people to acknowledge the health benefits of the products.

Blazin Star - British Airways (BA)/Flybe; Ensured all members of staff were at the start of each shift. Directed BA clients to the respective terminals, making them aware of the take over of flights with Flybe. Further more i also helped promote the company by giving interviews to the media. At the end of the shift i would present a report which was based on the activities of the day, and feed back from BA clients.At the end of the promotional activities I processed staff expenses and invoices.

Birmingham Evening Mail; I providYed money coupons to encourage people to buy the Evening Mail. My sales figures were the highest in the month of May, June, July and December. Also managed the stock when the company was providing free offers to its customers. And undertook stock counts on the delivery of the Evening Mail. Some of the shifts involve the responsibility of handling money for the sales of the paper.

Eye Candy - Subway ; My main objective was to make clients aware that Subway, the food chain, was a healthy option for breakfast and lunch. I promoted the concept by distributing coupon books to the public to encourage them to visit Subway.

Gregg's Bakery; I had to go to several stores to collect information about fixtures and fittings for there new designs in store

I initially started working as a part time sales assistant for Olympus Sports in House of Fraser. After two months I was promoted to supervisor. These duties entailed merchandising the stock to floor plan, till duties, refunds, credit cards checks, complaints, cashing the day’s takings and sales to the account department. I would also help arrange staff rota, stock levels, deliveries, staff training, and product knowledge. I followed the set procedures of the company to process customer complaints
