For 3 winters now I've managed a team of 6 staff working in their flagship chalet in chamonix for freshtraxxx. They are a holiday company that own a chalet in chamonix and villa in Sardinia, catering for snowboarding, kitesurfing enthusiasts. This is not specifically a event management role, but aspects are similar. Managing staff, communicating, team leading, organisation, making sure things are running smoothly are all the same attributes needed to manage an event.
