Brendan's Profile

Experience Summary

I live in South London and work as a professional actor. I began acting professionally in the UK after a career switch from Sales and Marketing, completing a three-year degree course in acting at Guildford. I have appeared both in the West End and at the National theatre, as well as many other productions. In between acting jobs, I tend to work in temporary assignments which may be office-based, such as with the civil service or in PR work, arranging events. I am a keen photographer, reader and fitness enthusiast. My future plans are centred on getting into Drama Therapy to work with disadvantaged adults and those with learning disabilities. As an actor, I have done several workshops. I have also taught drama to children for a period of two years at the Centre Stage drama school. I have helped organise and run team-building days for Barclays Bank away days. I have a long employment history working in sales and promotional work and feel very confident and capable in dealing with the public in that capacity.
