Experience Summary
After working in the events industry for over 13years I have covered all aspects of the role. Now I tend to event manage but am not adverse to being a BA as I lead by example and believe in taking a very hands on proactive role whatever the job.
In those 13 years I have also studied and gained a HND and a 2.1:BA(Hons) in fashion design whilst working part time in promotions, I also went on to be employed as a womens wear designer by several large corporations:Nike, Matalan, Umbro, Primark, and River Island.
As much as I was successful and was promoted to a senior designer I missed contact with people and didn't enjoy the unhealthy office lifestyle! and that is why I choose to work full time in the events industry, no two weeks are the same, no ground hog day, no being sat behind a computer all day!!! I really enjoy what I do and I believe that shows in my work.
